Judy Vilmain was well along on the path her life had taken when she realized she was on the wrong path. After much contemplation she left her position as a university professor and headed east "to live near the ocean."
"I come from a long line of women who make things" she says. "My mother's gift to me was the love of working with my hands."
The Vilmain company makes a yearly contribution to each employee's charity of choice and in the spring Vilmain staffers are paid to volunteer at a non profit organization of their choosing for two days each week.
Vilmain also donates 10% of annual profits to local and national non profit organizations.
